Of all the area resorts-Grand Geneva, Oakwood Hills, Eaglewood, The American Club, Marriot Lincolnshire, The Abbey is the only resort that is truly lakeside, combining 90 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva. We even have our own 407-slip marina-the only protected marina on the lake. In addition, it's only a 70-105 minute drive between the airport and this inviting retreat, versus a 120-145 minute drive to reach Eaglewood or Oakbrook Hills.

In late 2004 and early 2005, The Abbey Resort introduced the public to a $40 million renovation spanning every corner of the resort-from luxurious guestrooms with vaulted and beamed ceilings, wall-mounted LCD TVs, and custom-distressed maple wood credenzas, to over 40,000 square feet of newly renovated and redeveloped meeting and event facilities. In comparison, Oakwood Hills hasn't undergone renovations since 2002, and Eaglewood hasn't refurbished their resort since their opening that same year.

During peak season, The Abbey Resort features weekday and weekend rates that represent a much better value then The American Club. And if you're looking to visit off-season, you'll find us more accommodating than both The American Club and Marriott Lincolnshire.
