From East to West
The village of Fontana is located on the western edge of the
lake. With a year-round population of about 1,700, it exhudes
the peace and serenity of small town life, and is home to many
quaint shops that highlight local craft.
Resting on the east side of the lake is the city of Lake
Geneva. Offering a picturesque downtown district and numerous
specialty shops, the city boasts a unique combination of rural
charm, historic significance and urban services.
The Lake
Geneva Lake is the second deepest lake in Wisconsin (5,262 acres, 135 feet deep, 21 miles around, 2.1 miles wide, and 7.6 miles long). At the bottom of Geneva Lake you can find: a 50's era cabin cruiser south of Black Point, a Nash over by Cedar Point, a Volkswagen North of the Academy, the Lucius Newberry by Geneva Bay Estates, and the Hull of the Lady of the Lake by Geneva Inn.
